The ground batter, to be refrigerated for minimum 1 hour, for getting crisper vadas

Banana blossoms to be cleaned

The thick, red stamen like things to be removed, they are not good for stomach. And, any sharpest knife also cannot cut them!!!

All the ingredients for adding to the batter , mentioned above added to it.

Knead the batter with all the ingredients, add 1 tsp ghee. Adding ghee is another secret for getting cirsper vadas. (This I learnt from a cook when he made for a wedding)

Make small balls and keep them ready.

Wipe palm with water, take a ball and flatten. My grandson is posing!!!

Deep fry in oil, take and keep on kitchen towels to absorb  excess oil, if any.

Serve with any favourite chutney. Is ideal as a snack, ideal to be served with lunch                                during Feast Menu.(Virundhu saappadu)
