This is a perfect accompaniment for the Vegetable Khichdi. This can be called a sweet and sour accompaniment, delicately and mildly flavoured by spice powders .

Ingredients
Fresh curds, well whisked - 2 cups
Slit green chillies - 2
Chili powder - 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp
Jeera powder - 3/4 tsp
Besan flour - 3 tsps
Sugar - 1 tsp ( optional )
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
For Seasoning
Cooking oil + ghee - 3 tsps
Jeera - 1 tsp

Serves 2
To the well beaten curds, green chillies, chilli, coriander and jeera powders, sugar, salt and besan flour added
Turmeric powder and curry leaves added
Well mixed
Pan heated, oil and ghee added and jeera seasoned
After the jeera splutters, add 1/2 cup water
Keep the flames on the lowest (otherwise kadhi will curdle), and gradually add the curd mixture. Keep on stirring, till it starts becoming frothy, then switch off.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve this delicately flavoured mild, tasty Kadhi with Vegetable Khichdi.
