BRUSSELS  SPROUTS................looking like tiny cabbages....is one best green vegetable having a good serving of protein, gives plenty of anti oxidants, and hence protects against cancer, protects DNA, provides bone building Vitamin K, boosts the immune system with Vitamin C, fights inflammation and heart disease, restores digestive health, protects eye and skin health, protects nerve function, improves brain health, high in folates, fights diabetes, and becomes very very healthy when combined with coconut oil.
Recipe by my daughter, who always chooses to make the healthiest things for the family.....



                                                                          Ingredients
                                                            Brussels sprouts - 1 ks/2 lbs
                                                           Coconut oil/olive oil - 5-6 tbsps
                                                             Chilli flakes to taste
                                                                    Salt to taste

                                              Prep time: 10 mts; Baking time: 25-30 mts

                                                                        Serves 6


                                                  Brussels sprouts washed and drained


The edges cut and trimmed


Salt and chilli flakes smeared


All placed on an aluminium foil and coconut oil liberally drizzled to coat each and every brussels sprouts


Placed in a preheated Oven to 230 C / 400 F, and baked for 3=25 to 30 minutes


Serve them hot as starters or as a side to a salad or soup...so wholesome!!!
